| Early one morning, a man walks into a store. | Bem cedo, numa manhã, um homem entra em uma loja. |

| It has only one cash register and one cashier. | Ela tem apenas um caixa e um caixa. |
| The man has a $20 bill in his hand. | O homem tem uma nota de 20 dólares na mão. |
| He puts the money on the counter. | Ele coloca o dinheiro no balcão. |
| “Do you have change for a twenty?” the man asks the cashier. | “Você tem troco para uma nota de vinte?”, o homem pergunta ao caixa. |
| “I don’t think so,” the cashier says. “But I’ll look.” | “Acho que não”, diz o caixa. “Mas vou verificar.” |
| The cashier opens the cash register. | O caixa abre a registradora. |
